Premier League star’s daughter signs up for huge reality TV show with her brother
The daughter of a retired Chelsea footballer has revealed that she has signed up for a huge reality TV show.
Jade Leboeuf, 34 – who is the eldest child of former centre-back Frank Leboeuf – has announced that she will be on an international version of the Traitors. She is set to appear on the fourth season of the show Les Traîtres, which is due to launch next month in her home country of France.
The content creator confirmed her involvement by sharing a photo of herself in one of the show’s red cloaks with fans on Instagram yesterday. She also included a promotional photo of the cast together in her post on the platform.
Alongside the photos, Jade teased over her identity on the show. She wrote in French: “In your opinion… Traitor or Loyal? I’m happy to share this wonderful adventure with you starting Thursday, April 3rd at 9:10 PM on @m6officiel.”
Jade is set to appear alongside her younger brother Hugo Leboeuf on the upcoming season. The two siblings will be joined by other contestants including former tennis player Alizé Cornet and reality TV star Laurent Maistret.
Hugo also announced his casting on the show on the platform. He wrote alongside a photo of him in a red cloak: “It’s official. I’m part of this new season of traitors.” And he concluded by teasing in his post: “So am I loyal or a traitor?”
The news comes after Jade reportedly announced earlier this year that she had separated from her husband Stephane Rodrigues. The pair, who are parents to five-year-old son Elon, had celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary last year.
As reported by the Sun in January though, Jade announced that they had parted ways in a post on social media. The post, which was also reported elsewhere at the time, however isn’t currently visible on her Instagram page.
She’s said to have posted a black and white photo from her wedding to Stephane to announce that they had separated. She reportedly emphasized in the caption the “love” and “understanding” between them, adding that they were focused on maintaining a “harmonious family relationship”.
The Traitors franchise originated with the show De Verraders, which launched in the Netherlands back in 2021. The French version, Les Traîtres, began the following year. Its second and third seasons aired in 2023 and last year respectively.
The UK version, broadcast by the BBC, also launched in 2022. The second season aired last year and fans watched the third instalment earlier this year. And applications for a fourth season are now set to close later this month.
