Jenrick’s tenure as Immigration Minister oversaw a significant increase in asylum seekers housed in hotels, a move that drew criticism from Farage, who accused Jenrick of being deceitful. Following a clash between Jenrick and Farage over asylum hotel usage, Farage labeled Jenrick as untrustworthy and advised caution in dealing with him.
