“Helen Flanagan Faces Intensifying Dispute with Ex Over Residence”

Must read

Helen Flanagan has received a caution that her ongoing dispute with former partner Scott Sinclair could intensify further amid allegations that the footballer is pushing her out of their shared residence. The actress, known for her role as Rosie Webster on the popular ITV show “Coronation Street,” currently resides in an extravagant six-bedroom house with their three children.

Sources indicate that Scott is pushing for Helen to move into a smaller dwelling, but insiders suggest that the 35-year-old actress is not willing to comply. Despite sharing three children – Matilda, Delilah, and Charlie – the couple’s relationship has deteriorated to the point where they no longer communicate directly, relying on family members instead.

A psychotherapy expert has highlighted the escalating tension between Helen and Scott, warning that it could become the new norm without intervention. Marygrace Anderson, a psychotherapist and founder of MG Hypnosis, expressed concerns about the breakdown in communication between the former couple, emphasizing the potential psychological impact if the current dynamics persist.

The split between Helen and Scott, who were together for 13 years but never married, occurred in 2022. Notably, Helen’s residence in Belmont, near Bolton, is registered in Scott’s name. The luxurious property was initially listed for £1.5 million before being reduced to £995,000 last year.

While Scott advocates for Helen to downsize, the actress is fond of her current location, considering the stability it provides for her children’s education and proximity to her parents. Sources revealed that Scott covers the house expenses and has proposed purchasing a four-bedroom house for Helen, but disagreements arise over the property’s value and maintenance arrangements.

During the Christmas period, Helen criticized Scott for missing their son’s nativity play to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. In response, Scott shared his excitement about the F1 event on social media, prompting Marygrace to interpret Helen’s reaction as a reflection of feeling unheard amid the relationship breakdown.

Marygrace emphasized the importance of therapy for Helen’s emotional well-being and the necessity of direct communication for co-parenting decisions. Failure to address these issues could lead to heightened conflicts and potential media exposure, she warned.

The Mirror has reached out to representatives of both Scott and Helen for comments.
