Must read

Sky is currently offering a rare opportunity for some customers to receive a complimentary upgrade that includes an additional 35 channels at no extra cost. This special promotion is available for a limited time until Wednesday, October 16. Customers with the basic Essential TV package can instantly enjoy the benefits of the more feature-rich Sky Ultimate TV package without any additional charges.

The free upgrade provides access to premium channels like Sky Max, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central. Sky has confirmed that from October 10 to October 16, Essential TV customers can enjoy the enhanced Ultimate TV package at no extra cost, unlocking over 35 additional channels for viewing pleasure.

Some of the exciting shows included in this promotion are the final series of Brassic and BAFTA-winning Mr Bigstuff on Sky Max, as well as popular programs from Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central. Viewers can also indulge in new content such as The Paper on Sky Max, The Office on Sky Comedy, and series like FBI and Fire Country on Sky Witness.

For existing Essential TV subscribers, the upgrade will automatically appear on their screens without any action required. If customers find the added channels appealing, they have the option to upgrade to Sky Ultimate TV for just an extra £3 per month.

Moreover, Virgin Media is also joining the trend of offering free upgrades this month. Throughout October, they are granting full access to channels including Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, and Baby TV. This means households can enjoy shows like Pip and Posy’s Spooktacular Party on Sky Kids, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball on Cartoon Network, SpongeBob SquarePants on Nickelodeon, and Peppa Pig, all without the usual subscription fees. Virgin Media has introduced this promotion in time for the October half-term period.
