‘Best value’ box of 48 Creme Eggs cheaper than supermarkets to get ahead for Easter

We don’t know about you but we always get excited at this time of year to see Easter chocolate hitting the supermarket shelves. And if, like us, Cadbury’s Creme Eggs are one of your favourites, this money-saving bumper bundle is one of the cheapest ways to buy them.

We’ve found a huge box of 48 Creme Eggs available to buy from the Cadbury store on Amazon, currently reduced from £36 to £29.85. This works out at 62p per egg – cheaper than most supermarkets (they’re currently 85p at Sainsbury’s and £1 at Waitrose).

This makes this an excellent way to buy this seasonal treat for less, whether you’re planning on holding Easter egg hunts or simply love eating them outside of Easter too.

This Creme Egg bulk buy has been a real hit with Amazon shoppers too, with a whopping 18,000 five star reviews on the website, with shoppers praising the value for money and how well packaged they were.

“Amazing value – truly. I think I bought this one sale which made this soooooo affordable. Sooo much chocolate and for such a good price too,” one person wrote.

“These came just as you would see in the shops and taste perfect. Came in good condition and lasted us for a while. Great purchase for those that love Creme Eggs,” another agreed.

Many also commented on how useful this purchase is for Easter egg hunts, with one review reading: ‘What a great way to expand our grandchildren’s Easter egg hunt. Well packaged. All wrapped perfectly. The children loved it. Just a few left over for the adults too. Brought at a great price too, for 48.”

One shopper, however, flagged a common complaint: that Creme Eggs have gotten smaller from what we remember from our childhoods. “Bought for kids easter party. Eggs a lot smaller than they used to be and flavour is nothing like they once were,” one Amazon shopper wrote.

Nonetheless, if you love this chocolately treat and always miss them once they’re no longer on sale – or are simply trying to get ahead for Easter, and save money while doing so – buying this bundle is the way to do so.

We’ve spotted another chocolate bundle that makes a great gift for a loved one. Usually priced at £19.50, shoppers can now snap up a 600g Lindt Lindor box with a hefty 26% discount, now £14.50. The box contains approximately 48 truffle balls – meaning they cost around 30p each – and available in both milk and salted caramel.

Over at Hotel Chocolat, the With Love Sleekster is priced at £29.95, reports Lancs Live.
