Charlotte Crosby wedding drama as fiancé’s ‘barely been home’ since baby’s birth

Family life hasn’t been smooth sailing for Charlotte Crosby and her fiancé Jake Ankers – the pair have barely seen each other since the birth of their second child, Pixi Cece.

Charlotte Crosby has called Jake, who proposed in Dubai in 2023 with a five diamond engagement ring, her “knight in shining armour”. However, he’s currently working away overseeing a famous comic’s tour with his chauffeuring company, leaving her alone to juggle their six-week-old baby, who currently has sickness and diarrhoea bug, two-year-old Alba, and their business ventures.

“Jakes’s on the road at the minute,” sighs Charlotte. “He’s on tour with one of his clients. He’s barely been home, it’s just me and the girls. I’m looking forward to when the tour ends.”

Despite Jake’s distance and the wedding being postponed, Charlotte insists they’re as happy as ever. ““I’m not bothered about any of it,” she says. “I’ve got my ring on my finger and I know my fiancé loves me so much.” There is another reason Charlotte wants Jake home – for the first time in a long time she’s feeling sexy.

“I just feel so confident,” shares Charlotte who is getting ready for a photoshoot during our interview. “After Alba it took us a year to feel back to being normal. It was weird.

I still have a little bit of a bloated stomach because I had major surgery, but I just look at myself in the mirror now and I just feel I look absolutely so sexy. I would be happy to stay looking like this for the rest of my life. I feel like a sexy mam!”

Despite her C-section, Charlotte is also finding she’s got more energy to play with Alba now she’s no longer pregnant. “It’s so much easier than being pregnant with a toddler,” says Charlotte.

“When you’re pregnant you literally do not have the same energy as when you’re not,” says Charlotte. “I could not run after a toddler. I couldn’t bend down and I couldn’t pick her up. I had no energy. I constantly wanted to sleep and I felt nauseous all the time. There is nothing harder than being pregnant with a toddler. So this has been a walk in the park!”

When baby Alba was born, Charlotte gave her Jean as a middle name in tribute to her grandmother. So when Pixi was born, they gave her Cece as a middlename, in tribute to Jake’s grandmother Cecila “It was a memory of my nana for Alba and a memory of Jake’s nana for Pixi,” says Charlotte.

Charlotte dreams of the perfect white wedding to fiance Jake Ankers complete with his and hers private jets and songstress Norah Jones serenading their first dance.

But for now, the pair’s big day is off as they battle to get their finances under control. Charlotte and Jake, welcomed their second baby Pixi Cece on 31st January this year, had initially planned to get married afterwards. Now that’s all changed.

“I’ve got no interest in a wedding,” says Charlotte. “They’re too expensive and they’re just for one day. If I do something that isn’t how I want it to be I will have this burning anxiety and I don’t feel like I’m at a place where I can book Norah Jones to sing at the wedding.

And if I don’t have Norah Jones singing at my wedding, then I don’t know what I’ll do. I want both the groom and the bridal parties to get private jets to the destination.”

Charlotte, who has taken just one week of maternity leave since baby Pixi was born, is currently building her businesses and has invested heavily in her fashion line Pepper Girls Glub as well as her Blitz and Burn fitness app.

On top of that she’s promoting her latest TV show Geordie Stories: Charlotte’s New Baby. “I was back at work after the first week,” says Charlotte.

“I’ve got my business and my mam works for my business and I’ve got ten members of staff and if I don’t work then people can’t get paid. I’ve got a lot of pressure. I do everything in terms of business: I push it, I model for it, I tape the content, I do the social media and if I’m not doing that there are no sales so people can’t get paid.”

Money might be tight now, but one day Charlotte hopes to be rich enough never to work again – and that includes quitting her lucrative TV shows.

“Ii about ten years time, I’m going to be in a very different place in my life,” Charlotte says confidently. “I’m going to have a lot of money. I’m building my business, my aim is to sell my business. I physically know that I will have the money to book Norah Jones to sing at the wedding.

So if I do it beforehand and then in ten years time, I’m like, God, if we had the wedding now, it would be a different story.’ I’m just going to f***ing be furious. I’d love to get married in my forties, that’s what I think now.”

On Charlotte’s reality show, Jake dreams of having a little boy, but Charlotte is unsure about a third child. However, if her business takes off and starts making money it could be a different story. “I’d like to be a multi-trillionare if I have another one,” says Charlotte. “Then I can really rest up after my C-section.”

Charlotte is building an empire in the hopes she can cash out and live a private life with Jake and their children. “In ten years time I will have built a couple of multi-million pound businesses and I will have sold them,” says Charlotte.

“I will have also sold my social media account with the eight million followers on. I’ll have a private account and I will no longer do any TV.” Charlotte has been a reality TV star since Geordie Shore started in May 2011 but she doesn’t want her own children to be famous.

“There will be a time when we come off TV,” says Charlotte. “I only do it now because they’re so young and they’ll be unrecognisable when they’re older. This all has to end.”
