Dunelm’s £10 garden accessory adds ‘splash of colour’ to any front door
Dunelm shoppers can brighten up the front of their house with a ‘pretty’ £10 decoration that’s perfect for spring. The homeware store has recently expanded its outdoor and garden section with lots of new additions in time for the warmer weather coming as Brits plan how to make the most of getting outdoors once again.
Adding colourful decorations doesn’t have to be bank-breaking. Smart shoppers have been sprucing up their spaces with items under £10 and making a big difference to their home’s appearance in the process.
One item that has proven popular online is the Purple Flower Topiary Ball from Dunelm. It measures an impressive 25cm and shows off a full bloom of ‘lavender-like flowers in a healthy green plume of leaves’.
You can also pick up a slightly different version with plush pink flowers for £10. They’d look great hung from a porch wall or any space you might have to brighten up your front door with some seasonal decor.
For those who don’t have a green thumb, there’s no need to worry, as this plant is artificial. It won’t wither away before the summer as it’s maintenance-free.
Plenty had glowing reviews about the difference this affordable plant made to their garden. One said: “Lovely purple flowers that give a splash of colour to the garden.” Another added: “Perfect for your front garden. It was easy to hang, small but elegant.”
A third wrote: “Very happy with my purchase. They look so realistic and a beautiful colour. Excellent quality and they look fabulous hung up in my garden.” Someone else commented: “They’re so hard-wearing and still look as nice even after a couple of years. I’m extremely pleased with how they keep their colour too.”
A fifth person shared: “They look very realistic and were a very good price. Saw very similar item in a local garden centre they were much more expensive.”
But, not everyone was impressed by the cheap decoration. Someone claimed: “This topiary ball looks really fake and there are quite a lot of gaps where the frame is clearly visible. I know that it is a faux plant, but it doesn’t look very realistic from any angle!”
Another Dunelm shopper warned: “When I took them out of the box, there were bits of leaves and flowers left behind and no way of putting them back on the ball. Bit disappointing.”
There are lots of garden items appearing in the shops as retailers get ready for the arrival of spring. People can grab furniture, decorations, toys and more to make the most of their outdoor spaces in the warmer weather from Dunelm’s full outdoor range here.
