Sadio Mane, former Liverpool player, has celebrated the birth of his first child with his young spouse. The 32-year-old footballer tied the knot with 19-year-old Aisha Tamba in a traditional Islamic ceremony in January 2024, keeping their relationship private until their marriage.
Tamba, who was still a student when she met Mane, was reportedly promised marriage by the former Southampton striker at the beginning of their relationship. The couple recently welcomed a baby girl, as confirmed by Al-Nassr, Mane’s current team.
In a recent match where Al-Nassr defeated Al-Kholood 3-1, Mane scored a goal and celebrated by cradling his arms in honor of his newborn daughter. Mane, who joined Al-Nassr from Bayern Munich in 2023, expressed his joy at doubling the team’s lead, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the opening goal.
The victory was sealed with Jhon Duran adding a third goal just before halftime. Despite Al-Nassr’s position in third place in the Saudi Pro League, trailing 10 points behind leaders Al-Ittihad with nine games remaining, the club proudly announced Mane’s new status as a father to the public.
Al-Nassr shared a touching video of Mane reciting a verse from the Quran while walking through the club’s training grounds, expressing blessings for Mane and his family. Mane, who desires a larger family, humbly stated his preference for three or four children, acknowledging that the ultimate decision rests with a higher power.
Tamba, in an interview following their wedding, expressed her anticipation for the future and emphasized that Mane’s fame and fortune would not change her character or values. She emphasized their privacy as a family and her commitment to remaining humble and true to her faith, stating her honor in being known as Mrs. Mane.
