Reality TV personality Maura Higgins has hinted at embracing a “cowgirl era” during a recent work trip overseas. This comes in the midst of ongoing talk about her maintaining a professional demeanor amidst the fallout from her public kiss with Danny Jones.
Maura, 34, and Danny, 39, were spotted sharing a kiss at a post-BRIT Awards party in London a few weeks ago. The former “I’m A Celebrity” contestants were said to have socialized together. Danny, a member of the band McFly, has since apologized to his wife Georgia Horsley, 38, with whom he has a son named Cooper, aged seven.
Shortly after the controversy surfaced, Maura jetted off to the United States for a photoshoot with fashion brand Oh Polly in Los Angeles. Upon her return to the UK, she has been sharing glimpses of her adventures in Texas.
Updating her followers on Instagram a few days ago, Maura mentioned her extensive travel plans for the month. She has since been sharing photos from her time in Texas, teasing a “cowgirl era” with various outfit changes.
Maura’s trip is reportedly in partnership with haircare brand Color Wow for the launch of their new Texas Hold ‘Em hairspray, which she featured in a video for her followers.
Recently, she posted a video of herself horseback riding under the sun, accompanied by the song “Pink Skies” by Zach Bryan. In another post, she showcased the hairspray product with stylist Carl Bembridge. Maura donned a consistent look, including a white t-shirt, denim shorts, brown boots, and a cowboy hat in her promotional content.
Additionally, Maura shared a photo in a black outfit and hat, apparently endorsing Color Wow with a mirror sticker that read “WOWDY Y’ALL.” Meanwhile, reports suggest that Georgia, Danny’s wife, has returned to their family home.
Despite the public attention surrounding her kiss with Danny, Maura has refrained from addressing the situation publicly. However, sources revealed that the relentless scrutiny has been challenging for her. While Danny issued an apology to his family, expressing regret for the situation, Maura has focused on her work commitments amidst the controversy.
