“Mixed Reviews for Meghan Markle’s Netflix Series”

Must read

The feedback has been received on Meghan Markle’s Netflix series, and some of it would have been challenging for her to read. With Love, Meghan, where she shares cooking and hosting tips, was a crucial project for the Sussexes’ Netflix deal, signed in 2020 after their royal exit. However, critics in both the UK and the US have heavily criticized the show, with it barely making it into Netflix’s top 10 globally, garnering 12.6 million hours watched compared to the controversial Harry & Meghan docuseries with 97.9 million hours in its first week.

Royal expert Jennie Bond advised Meghan not to dwell on the negative reviews, emphasizing the unjustified ridicule the show faced. Despite the harsh critiques, a second season of With Love, Meghan is confirmed for later this year, as hinted by Meghan on her Instagram. Jennie suggested that Meghan should maintain the essence of the show in the upcoming series and not succumb to major changes based on the criticism.

In a nod to her past constraints in the royal family, Meghan expressed gratitude in the final episode of the first season, signifying a new beginning she is eager to share. Jennie highlighted that Harry is supportive of Meghan’s spotlight moment with the show, acknowledging that his presence could divert attention from Meghan’s project.
