Marks and Spencer shoppers are heaping praise on a “fabulous” pair of trousers. Fashion fans have been quick to point out that the trousers “don’t crease” and are “great for holiday.”
The M&S Collection Textured Elasticated Waist Wide Leg Trousers are priced at £27.50 and come in four shades – black, mocha, faded khaki and soft white. They are available in sizes six to 24, as well as a variety of lengths including extra short, short/petite, regular, and long.
Marks and Spencer also stocks the Cotton Rich Retro Side Stripe Joggers for £35, and the Cotton Rich Palazzo Trousers for £45. Shoppers can also snap up the Pure Linen Wide Leg Trousers, also £45.

The M&S Collection Textured Elasticated Waist Wide Leg Trousers aim to bring “maximum versatility” to your wardrobe, and are cut to a “comfy” regular shape, with a wide leg, textured finish and elasticated high waist.
The trousers have an overall rating of 4.4 stars online, having racked up rave reviews. Among them, one person said: “Great trousers for smart comfortable travel. I purchased these trousers for a long haul flight. They were both comfortable for the whole and smart for my arrival. They were light enough for the hot climate I arrived at too.”
A second wrote: “Comfortable lightweight trousers that are flattering and look great on. They don’t crease so perfect for travelling. Super outfit with the matching top.” A third impressed shopper added: “I think these trousers are fabulous, fit well and look lovely.”
A fourth added: “Great fit and really comfortable. Good quality. I like them so much I’ve ordered them in black too.” A fifth excited shopper said: “Love these, they are comfortable and will be great for holiday.”
Another wrote: “Great for holidays, no creasing, easy wash easy dry. Dress up or down wear st beach or to a bar. Good material comfortable.”
However, some shoppers were not quite so impressed with the trousers. One shopper said: “Awful. Thin material you could see through – didn’t even finish taking them out of the bag.”
A second wrote: “I am 5ft 2 ins. Having read the reviews I ordered extra short. Sadly, even with heels these trousers are dragging the floor.
“I probably would have made the effort to shorten them if I hadn’t felt the fabric would have snagged easily. Also need to return the matching top. Outfit could have been useful for travel if sizing was more accurate and fabric more stable. Also think the trousers should be less wide.”
