Eligible users will automatically receive the additional 10GB added to their monthly data allowance, visible in their account and the MyO2 app at some point during the month. Simply check your settings to confirm the free data boost.
The extra data has no usage limitations, allowing customers to enjoy activities like streaming movies, sharing photos, or video chatting on platforms such as FaceTime. According to O2, this giveaway is a token of appreciation for being a loyal O2 customer.
The offer is available to all Pay Monthly customers, except those already on Unlimited plans or business tariffs. If you are on a standard monthly plan without unlimited data, you can expect your festive freebie to be activated soon.

This initiative comes after Ofcom’s recent Connected Nations report, revealing that UK smartphone users consumed 10% more mobile data in 2025 compared to 2024, totaling a massive 1.2 billion GB per month.
