Months following the announcement of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s upcoming eviction from the Royal Lodge, a royal insider has now disclosed the imminent eviction date. The scandal-ridden royal was divested of his titles by King Charles and relinquished his 75-year lease on the 30-room Windsor estate last October due to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
After much anticipation from royal followers about when the former prince would depart from the grand yet decaying residence he has resided in for over two decades, it has been unveiled that he will be relocating within a few days. Both Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson, who has cohabited with him at the Royal Lodge since 2008, are mandated to vacate the premises before the month concludes, amid reports suggesting that Fergie is eager to explore new horizons.
As per a source cited in Hello! Magazine, “Andrew and Sarah must vacate by January 25. She has been his steadfast support over the years but now looks forward to a new chapter. She will not be residing with him at the forthcoming house on the Sandringham Estate. Neither will she be moving into Beatrice’s Cotswolds residence. Potential options include Eugenie’s abode in Portugal while she finalizes her living arrangements.”
Commenting on their relationship dynamics, the source mentioned, “Andrew has distanced himself from media and external information, isolating himself. However, the daughters do maintain contact with him. Sarah remains deeply affected by the unfolding events.”
Recently, substantial removal trucks were witnessed at the Windsor estate, lingering for several hours before departing. Concurrently, workers were observed at Andrew’s possible new residence on the Sandringham estate, prepping for his arrival.
Speculations suggest that Andrew might be relocating to Marsh Farm on the King’s Norfolk estate, though the property is presently undergoing refurbishments to accommodate him in the near future. Buckingham Palace has not officially confirmed Andrew’s move to Marsh Farm.
Photographs captured Sky technicians at Marsh Farm installing what appears to be Sky Broadband in anticipation of Andrew’s occupancy. A fenced perimeter has been erected around the residence to enhance privacy and security. While renovations are ongoing at Marsh Farm, it is anticipated that Andrew will reside in temporary accommodations until he shifts to the Norfolk estate around Easter.
In late October 2025, King Charles formally revoked Andrew’s HRH style and prince title, expunged his dukedom from the Peerage Roll due to his “significant lapses” in judgment. This action followed the release of a posthumous memoir by Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre, and the disclosure of documents from Epstein’s estate. Allegations emerged that Andrew corresponded with Epstein in 2011 post-claiming to have severed ties with the disgraced financier. Andrew refutes any accusations of misconduct.
