“Sleep Expert Unveils ‘Moon Breathing’ Technique for Faster Zzz’s”

Must read

In celebration of World Sleep Day, an expert has revealed a simple method to help you fall asleep more quickly. Senior sleep specialist Martin Seeley suggests a technique known as “moon breathing” that involves breathing through your left nostril while closing off the right. This practice has been proven to calm the nervous system and enhance the quality of sleep.

Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule is crucial, as it helps regulate your internal body clock, making it easier to drift off naturally. Establishing a relaxing bedtime routine with activities like reading, light stretching, or meditation can signal to your body that it’s time to wind down.

Avoiding caffeine and large meals close to bedtime is also important, as they can disrupt your ability to fall asleep. Additionally, keeping your bedroom at an optimal temperature between 15-20°C can promote deeper sleep. Limiting screen time before bed is advised, as the blue light from electronic devices can interfere with melatonin production.

Exposure to sunlight, particularly in the morning, can aid in regulating your circadian rhythm and improve sleep quality. Engaging in physical activity during the day can also help you fall asleep faster and enjoy a more restful night.
