Sting and Shaggy share laughs over intense yoga session that left the reggae star floored

Must read

Sting left reggae icon Shaggy exhausted unable to stand up – after the pair enjoyed a gruelling yoga session. Shaggy was shocked to have been left frazzled after working out with the former Police frontman, who infamously boasted that yoga allowed him to enjoy 7 hour tantric love making sessions.

The Jamaican-American artist felt it was “prissy” exercise, but then was shocked at how sore the session left him. Sting famously boasted of being able to enjoy seven-hour love making sessions thanks to tantric sex based on their yoga-fuelled bedroom antics. Asked “what is the funniest situation we’ve been in together? Sting told his pal: ”Please, please don’t tell the truth.”

It Wasn’t Me chart topper Shaggy hit back: “Dude, there’s so much. There’s a couple of yoga ones.”

Giggling Sting reacted: “Not tantrum yoga. No, no, don’t go there.” Shaggy commented: “I am not a yogi. You’re a yogi, but you introduced me to yoga. And I was talking, like this a little prissy li thing. I thought it was like little poses – it’s not real workout. But then I went and did it and I couldn’t stand up. I couldn’t hold it. It was so damn hard. “

Sting promoted his upcoming duet single Til A Mawnin and summer festival performances with the it Wasn’t Me! hitmaker on ET in the US.

The 71-year-old boasted: “We will play the hits. People love our banter. We do a couple of new songs together, and sometimes he sings a little bit of mine, I sing a little bit of his, but it’s just the energy with both of us going back and forth that people seem to enjoy.”

Shaggy: “People arrive and do not know what to expect. It is two hours of back to back hits.”

Sting hopes to “make another album in a New York minute” with his friend following their 2018 release 44/876.

The music legend, 73, and his film director wife Trudie Styler, 71 – who married in 1992 – have been plagued by sniggers ever since Sting talked about their ‘tantric sex’ habits in a 90s interview.

When asked about it in a recent interview with The Times, Sting seemed to shrug it off but added another joke to the history books. “It could be worse. And the seven hours includes dinner, a movie and five hours of begging,” he quipped.

Sting cleared up the tantric sex admission in Bravo series Inside The Actor’s Studio in 2014. “The idea of tantric sex is a spiritual act,. ‘I don’t know any purer and better way of expressing a love for another individual than sharing that wonderful, I call it, “sacrament”. I would stand by it. Not seven hours, but the idea.”
