Teenager killed in tragic car-van collision at Ferny Hill

A tragic collision between a car and a van in Ferny Hill, Enfield, led to the death of a teenager and severe injuries to another individual. The incident, which occurred on November 6 around 11.40pm, prompted a response from the police and London Ambulance Service. Three passengers, including two teenage boys and an 18-year-old, were found injured and transported to the hospital. Additionally, a man in his 40s, suspected to be the van driver, also sustained injuries requiring medical attention.

Sadly, despite medical efforts, the 18-year-old victim passed away in the hospital on November 8. One of the teenage boys suffered life-altering injuries, while the other teenage boy and the van driver had injuries deemed non-life-threatening.

Authorities are providing support to the victim’s family and are appealing for information from the public regarding the crash. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.

Detective Constable Pauline Redmond from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit expressed the ongoing efforts to understand the circumstances leading to the tragic death. She urged anyone with information or potential dash cam footage from the incident to come forward to assist in the investigation.
