“Tyson Fury Reveals Top Opponents for Boxing Comeback”

Must read

Tyson Fury has unveiled his list of top opponents as he prepares for his boxing comeback this year, with a highly anticipated face-off against Anthony Joshua topping the list.

The former heavyweight champion had previously announced his retirement following consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk but has since made a surprising return to the sport. Fury has been intensifying his training regimen in recent months and is currently honing his skills in Thailand in preparation for a significant year in the ring.

Training alongside WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena, Fury, 37, has not been shy about naming potential rivals. Since his defeat to Usyk in December 2024, the British fighter has been vocal about his desire for a rematch with his long-standing adversary.

In addition to Usyk, Fury is eyeing bouts with compatriots Anthony Joshua and Fabio Wardley. In a recent social media post, Fury shared a compelling image depicting him facing off against the three heavyweight contenders.

Despite earlier talks of a trilogy fight with Usyk, uncertainties have emerged as Usyk’s advisor expressed doubts about revisiting their rivalry. Fans have been clamoring for a showdown between Fury and Joshua, but Joshua’s future is now uncertain following a tragic car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two close friends.

Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, acknowledged the potential delay of a Fury-Joshua bout until late 2026, given the recent events. Warren expressed concerns about Joshua’s well-being and emphasized the need for sensitivity towards the impact of the tragedy on Joshua’s mental state.
