A cost-effective smartwatch and a popular supermarket ketchup have been recognized as standout products of 2025.
Consumer research group Which? meticulously evaluated over 2,000 items to determine their quality and value. Their list of the top 50 products showcases items that excelled in various aspects. Some were deemed the best in their category, while others displayed remarkable innovation or offered exceptional value.
Leading the pack is the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, priced at under £63 in select locations. Despite being a fraction of the cost of Apple’s equivalent, it boasts comparable quality. Which? praised the device for its fitness tracking features, GPS functionality, and awarded it a perfect score for user-friendliness and screen performance, describing it as a “game-changer” that sets a benchmark for affordability and quality across all brands.
Ranked third is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, lauded for its rich tomato flavor with a balanced sweetness that doesn’t come off as artificial. While it matched the taste of the bestselling Heinz ketchup in a blind test, it comes at a significantly lower price point.
Just above the ketchup in second place is the Skoda Elroq electric car, the most expensive product in the top 50 list, priced at over £30,000. Which? commended the SUV for its cost-effectiveness in both purchase and operation, highlighting its premium feel and performance.
Another standout product is Aldi’s Magnum Premium Washing Up Liquid, securing the tenth spot in the rankings. Priced at 95p for a 500ml bottle, it outperformed its higher-priced competitor Fairy Original, scoring 73% in overall satisfaction.
The top 50 list includes a diverse range of products, from electronics and cutting-edge technology to household essentials like duvets, pushchairs, and even chainsaws.
