A close call was narrowly avoided by a driver on a highway when a cow suddenly jumped over a barrier onto the busy road. The heart-stopping moment was captured on video as the farm animal darted in front of a car on the M6 motorway in Ireland. The driver, CiarĂ¡n Flynn, skillfully swerved to avoid a collision with another vehicle, sharing the frightening footage online with a warning to fellow motorists.
The incident occurred following a multiple-vehicle collision involving a livestock trailer on the opposite side of the road. Emergency responders swiftly intervened, halting traffic in both directions to secure two escaped cows. Fortunately, no animals were harmed during the commotion.
According to a spokesperson from the GardaĂ, a three-vehicle crash took place at M6 Junction 3, involving a car and a livestock-carrying trailer. While one driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, the livestock were unharmed. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
In a separate incident, a van driver in Germany had a lucky escape after a deer crashed through the windshield, ending up inside the vehicle. The deer’s antlers protruded through the shattered glass, with the bewildered animal seated beside the driver.
