“Anthony Joshua Vows Knockout Against Jake Paul”

Must read

Anthony Joshua has made it clear that he will not hold back against Jake Paul, expressing that only a knockout will satisfy his desire for combat. The former heavyweight champion is set to face the YouTuber in what is expected to be a one-sided match in Miami on December 19, with Joshua set to earn up to £70 million for the bout.

Joshua, who will be trained by Oleksandr Usyk’s team for the fight, emphasized that a victory by decision will not be enough for him – he is determined to knock out Paul. “It’s not enough for me to just defeat him; I must knock him out,” Joshua stated. He added, “I intend to inflict damage on him both physically and mentally. I aim to demonstrate my superiority in the ring and will continue to do so as long as I am fighting. My goal is to cause significant harm to him during the fight.”

Acknowledging Paul’s experience with 13 professional fights since 2020, Joshua commended his opponent’s dedication to the sport. Reflecting on his own journey in boxing, Joshua highlighted the importance of not underestimating anyone, particularly in the face of a determined opponent like Paul.

On the other hand, Paul expressed his readiness to make sacrifices in pursuit of what he believes would be a monumental upset in boxing history. Confident in his abilities, Paul emphasized his belief in landing unexpected shots and his reputation as a skilled knockout artist. He predicted a knockout victory in the fourth or fifth round, stating that he is prepared to go to great lengths to secure the win.
