Tributes Pour In for Beloved Young Physician

Tributes are flowing in for a compassionate and supportive young physician who tragically passed away on Wednesday.

Dr. Grace Molloy, hailing from Riddlesford in Bray, was an intern at University Hospital Galway in Galway, Ireland. She sadly departed at Beaumont Hospital after an accident, as noted on RIP.ie.

According to the notice, Dr. Molloy’s mother Mary (McHugh) and brother Shane mourn her loss. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, neighbors, and colleagues also fondly remember her.

Having completed her Bachelor of Medicine at University College Dublin (UCD) last summer, Dr. Molloy commenced her internship at University Hospital Galway (UHG) in June. She left a significant impact on both patients and coworkers, as reported by GalwayBeo.

Colleagues at UHG described Dr. Molloy as a lovely individual both internally and externally. They expressed their sorrow online, highlighting her kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness to all.

Messages of condolences poured in from various individuals who knew Dr. Molloy, emphasizing her positive attributes and the joy she brought to those around her.

Dr. Molloy’s funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, at the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bray, followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones. Her family has suggested donations to Beaumont Hospital Foundation and Organ Donation Ireland in her memory.
