Megan Barton Hanson, a well-known personality from Love Island series four, recently shared a concerning incident with her followers. She took to her Instagram stories to alert her fans about being followed by two men in a car, which left her feeling frightened. Posting a picture of a black Mercedes that resembled the vehicle that tailed her, Megan advised her followers to remain vigilant.
In her message, she urged women and dog walkers to stay cautious, recounting how the black Mercedes estate with two occupants inside repeatedly approached her, making her feel uneasy and fearing for her safety and that of her dog. Although she noted the license plate potentially ended in “JTO,” she couldn’t confirm it and emphasized the importance of trusting instincts and watching out for each other.
Megan rose to fame on Love Island in 2018, where she initially paired up with Wes Nelson before parting ways. She later returned to the show for Love Island Games and became part of the franchise’s second same-sex couple. Following her time on the series, Megan openly identified as bisexual but chose not to extensively discuss it on TV, preferring to address it on platforms where she could express herself without limitations.
Reflecting on her experience on Love Island Games, Megan disclosed that she abruptly exited the show due to food poisoning, which she initially mistook for a common ailment before seeking medical attention. She clarified that her departure coincided with her ex-boyfriend entering the villa, leading to misconceptions about her sudden exit.
Apart from her reality TV appearances, Megan has featured on shows like Celebs Go Dating and Celebrity Ex On The Beach. Her personal life has garnered attention for her relationships with Demi Sims from Towie and footballer Chelcee Grimes.
