While Kendrick embraces the challenge of learning new things, she sometimes misses the simplicity of older slang like “TGIF.” She admits to frequently googling terms like “YOLO” in an effort to keep up with the evolving language landscape, especially in her workplace where acronyms have replaced traditional department names.
