Prince Andrew is reportedly feeling aimless as he gets ready to depart from Royal Lodge. Discussions among royal commentators centered on Andrew’s expected move from the expansive 30-room mansion.
Recent images captured a vehicle carrying Andrew leaving Royal Lodge in Windsor Great Park, with a removal lorry seen arriving, although it was unclear if he was relocating on that day.
It is said that Andrew will temporarily move to Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, possibly by late January, as he awaits his permanent residence at the smaller five-bedroom Marsh Farm.
Royal editor Matt Wilkinson and photographer Arthur Edwards raised questions about how Andrew would spend his time at his new home near Wolferton village, noting his lack of a defined occupation.
Despite rumors, Buckingham Palace has not officially confirmed Marsh Farm as Andrew’s new residence. The speculation arose after a no-fly zone extension over the property.
Enhanced security measures at the property, including CCTV installation and a six-foot fence, have been observed recently, alongside reports of a Sky engineer working on-site.
Sources suggest that Marsh Farm, while needing renovations, is notably less lavish than Royal Lodge, where Andrew has lived since 2004 following The Queen Mother’s passing.
Amid ongoing media scrutiny due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew, who denies the allegations against him, has faced public attention for years.
Following his departure, Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson will also vacate Royal Lodge. The couple has maintained a low profile and reportedly did not attend the Royal Family’s Christmas festivities.
Ferguson is expected to remain in the Windsor area, while Andrew’s future plans and activities post-relocation remain uncertain.
