European Leaders Preparing for Conflict with Russia

Must read

According to Russia’s foreign minister, European leaders, including Sir Keir Starmer, are actively preparing for a potential conflict with Russia. Sergey Lavrov stated during a press conference in Moscow that European politicians such as Kaja Kallas, Ursula von der Leyen, Friedrich Merz, Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, and Mark Rutte are openly gearing up for war against Russia.

Lavrov emphasized the necessity for Russia to address the root causes of the crisis involving Ukraine. He argued that the West has been trying to turn Ukraine into a threat to Russia’s security for many years, aiming to establish a stronghold against Moscow on their borders and supporting what he referred to as a Nazi regime that emerged after a 2014 coup.

Describing the Ukrainian government as a “Nazi regime,” Lavrov reiterated Russia’s stance that their invasion of Ukraine is justified by the need for “denazification.” Russia views the government that took power in 2014 as illegitimate, Western-supported, and neo-Nazi, although these claims are widely disputed.

European Union leaders recently agreed to provide Ukraine with a substantial interest-free loan to bolster its defense against Russia. The UK has also pledged significant military aid to support Ukraine. This comes as Russia intensified strikes on Ukraine, resulting in casualties and damage to the country’s energy infrastructure.

Amid escalating tensions, an unidentified British diplomat accused of espionage has been expelled from Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry cited the diplomat’s alleged affiliation with the British secret service as the reason for the expulsion, prompting a strong protest from British authorities, who dismissed the accusations as unfounded and malicious.
