The protester’s outburst, mentioning another Tory MP, David Davis, seemed to lack clarity or context. This incident somewhat overshadowed Reform’s attempt to embrace Jenrick following his controversial move away from the Conservatives.
Jenrick officially joined the Reform party last week after being dismissed by Kemi Badenoch for alleged scheming. During his speech at the rally, Jenrick expressed his commitment to his decision and emphasized his belief in Reform’s ability to bring positive change to the country.
In a pointed remark directed at his former party, Jenrick stated his resolve to no longer defend questionable actions, highlighting his belief that Reform offers a better path for the country’s future.
